A global blue chip is always looking to develop their category managers of the future. This role is heavily project orientated and will require a skilled stakeholder influencer who has a consultative approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for developing and executing procurement strategy for strategically critical part of the business to deliver highly visible and challenging cost reduction targets. Carrying out category assessments to generate innovative opportunities and robust strategic sourcing plans to ensure value is maximised.

The Person:

  • Whilst still developing your career in procurement the role will require you to be capable of dealing with a £70m and being able to influence senior stakeholders. The role is significantly project based and so some consultancy experience in your career would be an advantage. With blue chip experience and a Graduate who is CIPs or progressing you will fully understand category management and will be looking to progress your career further.
