​Job Description: We’re looking for someone with a logical mind-set and an interest in learning or developing their coding skills to help shape the future of the team. The role offers excellent prospects of driving business performance by delivering high quality analyses and insights on the performance of the portfolio and its associated risks.

Remote working options available.

Key responsibilities include:

•Provide portfolio data and ad-hoc analysis as required.

•Proactively identify and anticipate emerging trends, threats and opportunities using portfolio analytics.

•Develop and maintain automated portfolio monitoring tools that help identify and explain patterns in portfolio data.

•Work with other teams to compile and analyse trends, and asset level data and financial information on ‘what if’ scenarios.

•Provide fast and high-quality data and analysis explaining portfolio performance to group treasury, and investors.

•Regular use of advance SQL and excel.

•Help identify and solve data issues.

•To support the servicing, reporting, managing and issuance of secured funding transactions

•Working closely with head of finance and group treasury to effectively manage funding initiatives.

•Support and assist on investor and rating agency relationships.

•Ensure that secured funding reporting is compliant with funding facility documentation and is up to of the appropriate standard.

•Driving a culture of continuous change and improvement.

•Adhere to the FCA conduct rules.

Previous experience and qualifications:

•Advance SQL experience is a must

•Strong excel skills together with analytical capability.

•2-3 years of risk / finance analytical experience preferable.

•Degree in a numerate or analytical subject (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or similar).

•Ability to work to tight deadlines, delivering practical solutions and perform in a pressurised environment.

•Experience within either a bank, lending organisation or financial services is desirable, but not essential.
