Credit Stewardship Portfolio Manager - Reading - Hybrid working - Permanent

 

You will be part of the Asset Finance team (AF Team) responsible for safely managing the bank's assets, identifying and reporting on risks identified at both portfolio and individual customer level.

 

You will be working closely with the Asset Finance Portfolio Management Credit Delivery Managers, assisting them in actively managing performance of AF customers on an ongoing basis.

 

You'll communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, always exhibiting a 'can do' approach and consistently demonstrating and delivering on the Bank's promises.

 

Roles and responsibilities include;

 

Completion of Lessons Learned reviews and circulation of results 

Assessment of AF Watch list cases below £1m

Managing the AF Portfolio Management QC process and distributing the results

Management of the AF Risk Forum

Collation and distribution of the Credit Stewardship return on a timely basis

Assisting Portfolio Management Credit Delivery Managers in the preparation of credit review papers. 

Monitoring and addressing concerns on a portfolio wide basis including through Tracker and Staging Report assessments 

Analysis of management information, highlighting concerns and issues

Preparation and management of SOPs as appropriate

Supporting a process of continuous improvement within the department for better and simpler outcomes. 

Working effectively as part of a team, and independently where required, to meet deadlines and within any agreed SLAs.

Contributing to the development/refinement of credit strategy, policy and processes.
