I am working on a fantastic opportunity for a PMO on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. This role will be based in their Manchester office or in Glasgow with some home working. 

 As the PMO you will be part of the Change Team and will be responsible for Change governance and enforcing the UK Change Management Framework across all UK sites and Ireland as required. You will liaise with the Group PMO and Strategic Initiatives PMO to provide required information on a regular basis in advance of Group board meetings.

Responsibilities 

  • Enforce governance and documentation standards within the UK Change Team
  • Scheduling, facilitating, and producing regular reports for the UK & Ireland Change Board and UK Small Project Board. Produce minutes and follow up actions
  • Enforce the Change Framework and Project Lifecycle across the UK business and assist in educating colleagues on the use and importance of the framework
  • Ensure project updates are being updated at least once a week by the relevant PM/BA, reviewing the detail in the updates and challenging the content where required.
  • Maintain and update the Project Documentation Library and provide appropriate templates to the UK Change Board and various business areas upon request.
  • Ensure project budgets and benefits are being tracked and rate card data is up to date.
  • Assisting the Head of Change/Change Partner to manage supply and demand including co-ordinating allocation of resource.

  • Creating and maintaining positive relationships with business area leads, project sponsors and stakeholders across all UK sites.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a Change environment
  • Knowledge of Waterfall/Agile project methodology, and the project lifecycle
  • Good organisational skills required
  • Effective prioritisation skills required
  • Experience of using Excel and PowerPoint for data gathering and presentation
  • Experience of using Microsoft Project or an equivalent PPM Tool
  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills
  • Ability to facilitate groups of people at all levels to obtain actions/decisions
  • Ability to articulate key points/issues/significant risks and suggest mitigating actions to stakeholders.
