My client is a modern and forward-thinking financial advisory service specialising in pension and investment advice. They believe in putting clients at the centre of everything they do, and their modern, open and honest approach has enabled them to build strong foundations for growth

They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Pension and Investment Financial Adviser** who wants to develop and looking to take the next step along their career path. As part of the team, you will have the support of experienced Paraplanners and a highly efficient administration team.

The role plays a pivotal function in delivering tailored financial advice to clients remotely across the country. You will be expected to undertake research both independently and in conjunction with the paraplanning team to identify suitable products that meet the clients’ needs. Providing support and guidance to the para-planning team to help them prepare clear and concise suitability advice reports that are client-friendly and in their best interests

Key responsibilities include:

  • To conduct telephone advice meetings with clients from across the country.
  • To help to produce detailed but customer-friendly suitability reports.
  • To keep abreast of legislation, compliance, and industry changes.
  • Completing all business in a compliant manner and aligned with FCA requirements.
  • Ensuring that all recommendations are suitable and, in the best interests of the client.
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA Statements of Principles and Code of Practice for approved persons.
  • Support other team members to enable them to perform their tasks efficiently to enhance the client experience.
  • Ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately

The Person:

  • Minimum of 3 years' personal finance advisory experience
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma
  • Previous experience of delivering financial advice remotely via the telephone is desired
