A position has become available at a very well known and respected Accountancy practice in Blackburn. Due to the on going success of the business they are now looking to take on new payroll specialist for their team. You will enjoy working to deadlines and have an excellent work ethic, striving to get things right first time.

 

Your responsibilities will include

 

Being responsible for a portfolio of clients

Payrolls paying 1000+ employees

Liaising with clients via telephone and email to obtain relevant payroll information

Investigate any issues raised and respond to the client

Dealing with starters, processing Leavers

Processing statutory payments, calculating tax, pension increases where relevant, distributing payslips and payroll reports to Clients and processing Bacs

You will have a proven track record of working in a payroll environment. Experience of dealing with high volumes payrolls is essential to the role. You must be career focused and be driven to achieve success within your role. The role will suit anyone that is looking for a long term career in payroll.  The business offers an excellent benefits package including a pension scheme and flexible working hours as well as opportunities to progress within the payroll team. Having experience of working within a payroll bureau will be an advantage. .
