​The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Partner Performance Manager to join our client’s team in Manchester. The PPM is a Relationship and Performance manager within their panel of specialised Collections & Recoveries suppliers. The role is pivotal in ensuring robust financial performance of a panel of external servicing partners, generating, and growing revenue streams and delivering positive customer journeys.

What will you be doing?

• Rigorously analyse activity KPIs and collections trends across the panel, to identify opportunities and shortcomings at the partners, and lead them to improve their performance

• Work closely with the strategy and analytics team to design and implement strategies to enhance performance

• Ensure appropriate servicing strategies are in place for all customers placed with Partners, and that their inventory is fully worked

• Manage collections within budget and negotiate commercials with partners for new activity

• Drive initiatives and benchmark across our global platforms to ensure best practice is understood and implemented

• Provide analytical, performance and benchmarking support to Partner Managers and Head of Collections as required, and key Partner Support functions for external relationships identified as requiring specialist support in improving performance

Is this you?

Essential:

• Professional qualification / degree

• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to undertake root cause analysis

• Strong ability to use and manipulate date in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with the following Excel skills: conditional formatting; multi-axis and combo-format graphs; pivots; lookups; custom number formatting; macros; external data sources; shared and linked spreadsheets

• Experience building MI dashboards

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint

• Proven commercial acumen and results-focused attitude

• Strong communicator and negotiator with positive influencing and interpersonal skills

• Experience of dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders

• Adept at managing competing priorities with challenging deadlines

• Experience of working in a fast paced and ever evolving organisation

Desirable:

• Experience in the Financial Services sector

• Experience or knowledge of SQL querying

• Experience in the Non-Performing debt sector

• Experience of Corporate Client or Supplier facing role

• Experience in dealing with third party clients or suppliers.

• Experience in a communications role
