Outbound Sales & Account Manager – German Speaking

Hours: Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:00 -17:00 

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our successful European Sales team within our Manchester office. The successful candidate will have a passion and desire to manage and develop a case load of business sales accounts throughout Germany.

We require a candidate who has a native level of the German language.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to maintain and build existing business (20%) and develop new accounts in a challenging market via outbound sales (80%). The successful candidate does not need sales experience as such, as full training will be given, however, the candidate does need to have a strong desire to win, tenacity and resilience to win the business from their competitor.

The successful candidate will have a positive and friendly telephone manner and confidence when dealing with business clients, both over the phone and face to face. You will also need to possess excellent listening and communication skills, whilst also having the ability to “think on your feet”.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

  •  Build and develop relationships with existing clients to maximise sales (20%)
  •  Source new business opportunities via outbound calling (80%)
  •  Occasionally Attend Trade shows in UK, Sweden, Denmark and Finland
  •  Maintain account information
  • Maximise sales opportunities
  • Negotiate deals
