​This is a high-volume outbound calling B2B sales role, focused on acquiring new customers for our clients’ products and services as well as some level of inbound lead management.

The role:

1. Outbound call to businesses to sell the full range of all the products and services

2. Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities

3. Achieve all commercial retentions and sales targets in a consistent manner (month-by-month)

4. Receive above par scores from customer satisfaction surveys and internal feedback.

Experience required:

1. A minimum of 2-years demonstrable success in a high-volume desk-based B2B, commercial insurance sales role or 3-years in a personal lines’ insurance role

2. Experience of negotiating multiple products, price and contract terms

3. An expert level of understanding of B2B sales processes

4. An expert level of understanding of regulatory requirements impacting B2B sales organisations in the insurance industry.

Skills required:

1. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to individual customers

2. High level of attention to detail and organisation, with a sense of ownership, pride and responsibility for the accuracy of own work

3. The drive, resilience and focus required to win in a competitive new business sales environment

4. A genuine interest in own development and learning needs, with the energy and desire to act on them to improve own performance

Qualifications required:

1. Experience of commercial insurance outbound sales is essential

2. Completed Cert CII or working towards with a minimum of 2 modules completed.

3. Working knowledge of the use of CRM systems and I.T, literate
