This is a great opportunity for a well experienced Operations Manager to join a family run business that has been established since 1989, they are a well-established and successful importer, exporter and distributor of fashionable sports performance apparel, sports equipment, workwear apparel and safety footwear.

They operate from their head offices and showrooms in the UK and also from their central European office based in Germany.

They have built and nurtured long standing relationships with their highly qualified, well-established manufactures and suppliers in the Far East, Indian sub-continent, Europe and the USA over the 30+ years since the company was established. Their diverse portfolio of products and extensive European network of retail customers and distributors enable them to remain flexible and deliver efficiently to align with their customer requirements.

Operations Manager duties/expectations:

• Manage a team of 5 sales operations staff

• Experience on SAP Business One preferred but not a necessity

• Experience with bonded warehouse stock an advantage

• Experience trading with the large customers

• Sales order processing through to invoicing

• Negotiation with transport companies to achieve best rates

• Exports – post Brexit experience preferred with the new admin requirements

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
