Cigna is a leading global health services provider, dedicated to helping people improve their health, wellbeing and sense of security. We are going through an exciting period of expansion and are seeking an Operational Excellence Analyst in our Global Individual Health (GIH) segment. The main purpose of the role is to fully support the Operational functions in terms of Cigna's distribution development and management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all distribution channels are selling and servicing in accordance with regulatory and business guidelines.

  • Perform quality checks to meet compliance requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing documented sales and servicing processes across all departments in accordance with FCA, DFSA and any other regulatory requirements, to ensure appropriateness of the sale and service provision.Be able to create and analyse reports to spot trends and help manage the business.

  • Maintain accurate records and files as required.

  • Identify and implement process improvements.

  • To provide monthly reporting to evidence and report on compliance requirements for the business

  • To ensure all customer facing representatives are appropriately trained and fit for purpose to ensure appropriateness of selling and servicing to meet customer needs and demands.

  • Oversee active registered broker accounts to ensure Brokers meet license and KYC requirements.

  • Maintain GIH Breach and Risk registers, highlighting any potential risk areas to key stakeholders with recommendations for improvement.

  • Monitor calls for coaching and compliance.

  • Oversee internal and external audits, including the ownership and delivery of action items and system updates where applicable.

Skills and Experience

The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience and deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Proven track record of working in a regulated environment.

  • Ability to collect, organise and analyse data.

  • Able to work collaboratively with internal departments.

  • Understanding complex regulatory environments globally is preferable.

  • Experience and deep knowledge of working in markets outside of the UK is preferable.
