​Following the first notification of loss point, the recoveries agent will deal with a variety of caseloads to provide the appropriate services to both the client, insurer and business partner. The key purpose of the role will involve ensuring claims are closed satisfactorily in the most efficient manner.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

• To ensure that the subrogation recovery of monies owed is obtained in the shortest time possible.

• Ensure that all documentation is gathered at the earliest opportunity and that there are no delays in the submission of claims to third parties/third party insurers

• To follow the reserving philosophy guidelines

• To regularly update both clients, partners and brokers in accordance with the agreed claims process providing a professional and efficient service to the client and department

• To proactively manage a caseload effectively to conclusion ensuring there are no conflict of interests. That follow-up work is processed in a timely manner and meets service level agreements and client expectations. To enter accurate data into relevant information systems (pro-claim, excel etc.)

• To communicate with the relevant department seniors to highlight issues that may have a detrimental effect on the quality of service provided

• To undertake training relevant to the post and complete the required training time from Freedom to Learn and meet any deadlines given to meet

• To provide support and work across other areas and departments if within current skill set and to undertake further training to become multi-skilled as and when required to do so by the Performance Director

• To ensure that all regulatory requirements are adhered to including the protection of client and company data

• To ensure that all payment information is entered accurately and that the Best Practice Guidelines are followed

• To Priorities own workload to ensure deadlines, standards and KPI; s are met.
