A Head of Compliance and MLRO is required for a fast-growing foreign exchange company. They are looking for an experienced Head of Compliance & MLRO to assist with maintaining their high standards of compliance and risk management, overseeing these functions.

Responsibilities of the Head of Compliance and MLRO include:

  • Manage client onboarding and customer due diligence processes.

  • Oversee / enhance our due diligence processes.

  • Develop and implement a risk-based transaction monitoring system to detect any suspicious activity.

  • Monitor the performance of the compliance team, providing leadership and guidance where necessary.

  • Make sure staff are trained on compliance policies and procedures.

  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes and implement any necessary changes to policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all AML/KYC/CFT requirements are being met.

  • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities.

  • Develop / maintain a risk management framework.

  • Conduct regular compliance and risk assessments to identify any potential issues or potential areas of improvement.

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a regulated foreign exchange company.

  • Knowledge of AML/KYC/CFT regulations and requirements.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and reconciliation processes.

  • Experience in managing compliance and risk management functions.

  • Great leadership and communication skills.

  • Work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
