A Head of Compliance and MLRO is required for a fast-growing foreign exchange company. They are looking for an experienced Head of Compliance & MLRO to assist with maintaining their high standards of compliance and risk management, overseeing these functions.
Responsibilities of the Head of Compliance and MLRO include:
Manage client onboarding and customer due diligence processes.
Oversee / enhance our due diligence processes.
Develop and implement a risk-based transaction monitoring system to detect any suspicious activity.
Monitor the performance of the compliance team, providing leadership and guidance where necessary.
Make sure staff are trained on compliance policies and procedures.
Keep up to date with regulatory changes and implement any necessary changes to policies and procedures.
Ensure all AML/KYC/CFT requirements are being met.
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities.
Develop / maintain a risk management framework.
Conduct regular compliance and risk assessments to identify any potential issues or potential areas of improvement.
Ideal Candidates will have:
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a regulated foreign exchange company.
Knowledge of AML/KYC/CFT regulations and requirements.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and reconciliation processes.
Experience in managing compliance and risk management functions.
Great leadership and communication skills.
Work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
