My client, a highly entrepreneurial owner managed business that has demonstrated excellent growth over recent years, urgently require an experienced Management accountant, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract however a longer term opportunity may be available.

Reporting to the Financial controller key responsibilities include

• To liaise closely with Commercial team and support them in all financial matters

• Be instrumental in preparing financial reports to assess business performance

• Liaise with and satisfy requirements of internal and external stakeholders

• Implement and drive efficiencies across the business and ensuring robust financial practices are in place

• Initiate system/process improvements where possible

• Cash flow management, modelling and forecasting

To succeed in the role, you will have the following skills/ experience

• A qualified accountant/ qualified by experience

• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel – lookups, pivots, etc

• Microsoft NAV experience preferred but not essential

• Customer focused

• Analytical – process data into meaningful information

• Task focused - able to work accurately to deadlines

• Self-starter who can manage workloads
