My client, a multibillion turnover, International, acquisitive manufacturing company require a Global M&A Manager be responsible for managing the acquisition process across the Group.

Working closely with the CFO and MD

Key responsibilities include:

• Aligning the M&A activities with the Strategic Plan, and managing the review process across the organisation to identify acquisition targets

• Coordinating the acquisition process and liaising with Group, preparing and managing group approvals and acquisition documentation, including board documents

• Drafting indicative offer letters (with Group support)

• Arranging non-disclosure agreement signing (with Group support)

• Coordinating the activity of all members of each acquisition team

• Identifying synergies and justifying the rational for acquisitions

• Preparing business valuation models

• Coordinating financial & non-financial due diligence (with Group support)

• Coordinating post acquisition integration activity

• Working with the Segment Managers to maintain a database on competitors in conjunction with M&A activity (both directions)

Experience, knowledge and skills:

• Educated to degree level, with a background in M&A consulting, having exposure to due diligence, project management and market research on potential targets

• Internationally recognised professional qualification desirable

• 5 years’ experience in M&A consulting

• Fluent English (spoken and written) essential

• Good financial abilities including financial modelling and business valuation

• Intelligent, innovative and with commercial acumen and a passion for business and strategy

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Confident, persuasive, influential, tenacious and resilient

• Good computer skills

This is a truly global role so can be based anywhere across Europe with the freedom to work from home, with occasional International Travel.
