My client is looking for a Loan Manager in the Loan department to manage and undertake the on boarding of new clients.
Responsibilities
Lead the client on-boarding process for funding
Liaise with internal teams to finalise project availability, appropriate timings and all necessary documentation gathering and finalisation of legal paperwork
Prepare, review and verify the Funding Request with the client for
Ensure compliance with Operational Processes and completion of AML/KYC is followed and completed
Register legal paperwork with Companies House or similar bodies
Issue subsequent paperwork to the client outlining obligations during their loan, ensuring that all outstanding documents and Credit Committee conditions have been satisfied ahead of the drawdown date
Once on-boarded manage client relationship during loan term including; tracking performance with relevant metrics, ensure all monthly monitoring documents are collected on time
Liaise and manage the monitoring team and operational finance to ensure timely reporting on financials and controlled account usage
Identify and raise potential loan breaches to management, draft formal notices and liaise with the recovery manager
Manage and attend scheduled client visits
Arrange settlement notices or liaise with alternative funders if applicable on client exit
Handle client calls and written enquiries
Skills and experience
Loan experience
Knowledge of sector – fintech/banking or client servicing
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Experience of managing a client portfolio (preferable)
Knowledge of formalising legal paperwork or contracts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and organise work load
