​MERJE are partnered with a fast growing trading business who are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing terms and conditions in respect of FX transactions and payment services and ISDA documentation;

• Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts;

• Overseeing any company secretarial workstreams;

• General assistance on Legal reporting to management;

• Assisting on data protection issues including compliance with privacy laws and data security; and overseeing the relationship with external advisers and panel law firms

Key Requirements

• Previous experience of working within in a financial services firm and a highly commercial environment;

• Good knowledge of OTC derivatives and negotiating the ISDA / VM CSA and delegated reporting agreements, financial services and payment services regulation; and

• Competency in drafting legal documents.
