A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at a listed energy company, looking for an experienced regulatory lawyer to join their high performing team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal you will have a key role in driving the realisation of the company's legal function’s and especially the Regulatory Legal team’s objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial awareness, a strong understanding of consumer law and existing knowledge of downstream supply side energy regulations and/or the Financial Services regime. You will be supporting and working closely with the Regulatory Affairs team in their dealings with Ofgem and BEIS

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and commercially minded in-house regulatory lawyer looking for a breadth and depth of work in an evolving sector, whilst playing a key role within the business.

You will need to be a UK qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE, having trained at a reputable firm.
