Our Client, a leading name within the Financial Services Industry with offices Internationally, is looking for someone of suitable calibre to assume the position of Lead Finance Business Partner.
Due to exponential growth, this a newly created role and you would be taking full control of the Balance Sheet element of the Business.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and partnering with the Director of Portfolio Management you will be undertaking the following responsibilities:
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and analysis to Directors of Portfolio Management & Executive Committee on the performance of the balance sheet business.
• Running / building the annual budget and reforecasting process for Balance Sheet Business Investment Business.
• Dealing with the provision of ad hoc analysis required by the Director of FP&A, Chief Commercial Officer, Director or Portfolio Management and Executive Committee.
• Reporting on collections performance, Balance Sheet Business P&Ls and key KPIs ensuring that reporting is consistent and insightful.
• Providing insight on what is driving performance and challenging where performance is off track
Key Candidate Criteria:
• A solid background in a similar Finance Business Partnering role
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience gained within financial services
• Strong stakeholder management skills – up to senior level
• Knowledge/experience of financial instruments and loan book accounting
• Advanced Excel and strong IT skills
• Proven ability to improve current processes and drive performance
This role is largely remote with a presence required in the office max once a week.
