​Our Client is looking for a Lead Decision Systems Analyst to join the team and maintain, support and develop credit policy driven strategy changes received via business requirements from within Credit Risk and other business areas.

Role Responsibilities:

To design, build, implement and manage product specific credit strategies, related scorecards, and policy rules in the Decision System (DS)

To ensure maintained processes and procedures are followed to manage the DS environment via requested changes

Adhere to existing governance when credit strategies and changes are promoted to UAT or Production

Be accountable for completing unit, system, and user acceptance testing against specific decisioning processes

Develop relationships with Credit Reference Agencies and other Third-Party partners to identify solutions which will improve Credit Risk capability.

To design and perform Champion / Challenger scenario testing based on requirements

To ensure all system and strategy related documentation is in place and up to date

Well organised and able to project manage multiple implementations

Role Requirements:

Demonstrable experience in a Decision Strategy (Decision Metrics) or similar Decisioning applications with strong evidence of end-to-end delivery

Ability to review a set of business requirements and design a technical solution using the desktop installed analytical application.

Required to design and deliver said requirements using system code LUA editing.

Experience to then deploy the strategy changes to complete user acceptance testing

At least two years’ Credit Risk experience within Retail banking or finance

Sound knowledge of financial environment with excellent analytical skills – highly numerate.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to convey technical issues to non –technical colleagues

Interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to influence and challenge

Strong SAS / Excel / SQL skills are desirable
