MERJE are working with a reputable investment firm in their search for an Investment Controls specialist. This will be on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis and you will be part of a team that oversees investment related activities whether completed in house or outsourced to third parties

Responsible for:

• Oversight, monitoring and control over Investment Outsourcers including the global custodian, fund administrators, external fund managers in accordance with appropriate policies and contractual obligations

• Completion of investment operational and reporting activities

• Management and delivery of internally driven change and transformation activities.

• Preparation of materials for Boards, committees and management groups

• Control and reporting of Investment risks

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Relevant Investment operations or controls experience gained within an investment business

• Relevant investment qualifications

• Proven understanding of investment instruments, global custody, fund administration and investment operations

• Experience of overseeing third party providers

• Strong influencer with excellent verbal and written communication skills and be personally engaging
