Join a well-established organisation that deals with international law and legal practitioners. Reporting to the Head of Finance,you will be responsible for the processing of financial transactions and preparing and supporting the reporting of financials to the Board and Heads of Departments. Preparation of budgets and running the month end process/year end will also be responsibilities of the role.

 

Key responsibilities as Management Accountant:

•Assist the Head of Finance with month end and year-end processing

•Produce the monthly membership report for Executive and Deputy Executive Director

•Produce Balance Sheet reconciliations

•Assist with preparation of UK and Overseas VAT returns on a monthly/quarterly basis.

•Production of management information to aid the Budget building process and collation process.

•Preparation of Management Board and Council reports

•Act as business partner with Heads of Departments

•Close the accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis

•Preparation of management reports for Board and other committees

•Set up Conferences on SAP/SUN/ChaiTime and update relevant coding and electronic payment requests

•Prepare for the annual audit and be the first point of contact for the auditors

•Assist the production of US and UK tax returns.

•Process the UK staff payroll on a monthly basis

•Process the North American staff payroll on a bi-monthly basis

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. Part-qualified and QBE will be considered. Previous experience with SUN and SAP are desirable but not essential. The individual must be competent with Excel and able to prove their capabilities. Preparation of Board reports and exposure to multi-currency accounts are essentials.
