Insolvency Administrator

Preston City Centre

£25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Monday - Friday 9.00-5.30 Hybrid following probation

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insolvency Administrator to join an established team focussing on corporate insolvencies.  As an Insolvency Administrator you will be responsible for a portfolio of cases dealing predominantly with statutory and technical aspects of the insolvency process, but also driving forward commercial matters, such as asset release.

 

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside Case Managers to provide support on corporate insolvency engagements

  • Ownership of a portfolio of cases, with responsibility for statutory compliance; proactive case progression in conjunction with Case Managers; and responding promptly and effectively to case correspondence and queries

  • On a case-by-case basis, undertaking appropriate investigations to ascertain the reasons for insolvency and prepare relevant reports thereon;

  • Producing correspondence, letters; emails; notices; minutes; file notes; schedules and analysis of a high standard

  • Assisting with preparation of statutory and other reports for the attention of creditors and other stakeholders

  • Interacting closely with colleagues, third-party stakeholders including directors, employees and creditors and appointed agents

  • Opportunity to participate in business development events

  • Attending to other administrative tasks required by the role

About You

  • Experience in insolvency delivery - preferably, via previous involvement in administering a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases

  • A consistently professional and ethical approach is expected

  • Good time management and organisational skills

  • Attention to detail and meeting deadlines are critical to the role

  • An ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues and third parties

  • The skill to critically assess tasks and to present alternative solutions, where appropriate

  • Willingness to form lasting business relationships

  • Able to travel to and work from client sites, as required, as well as our other offices from time-to-time

  • Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel

  • A high standard of written work is essential, in particular email and letter writing
