A new vacancy has arisen for a Category Manager to join a large Telecoms company within the Manchester Office. This role will lend itself to a few indirect categories including Logistics/Supply Chain/Manager Services. Experience within IT/Telecoms is essential for this role, or at least an indepth understanding of these categories.

This role has a large focus on reducing costs and you must have a track record of being able to decrease the spend without compromising quality. You will ideally have experience with a broad range of indirect categories, and the initial focus will be on the returns side of the business and  managing the supply chain for circa 4 million customers, with a spend level of circa £300m.

You will be highly commercial with the ability to identify opportunities to cut costs without compromising quality. Attention to detail is required for this role and you will interact with other areas of spend regularly.
