​We are working on an exclusive basis with an NHS Trust in the West Midlands. The Trust are looking to recruit and experience Risk Management professional on an initial 3-6-month contract to conduct a full review of their Risk Management processes. In this role you will support the Deputy Director of Governance – Safety & Risk, assessing the risk framework, current processes and procedures with a view to embedding any necessary changes.

Key Responsibilities:

•To support the Deputy Director of Governance and Risk by leading on the delivery of the Trust’s risk agenda, risk management system and risk-related regulatory and contractual compliance.

•To lead on the risk management framework and associated policies and guidance, and their implementation and development across and beyond the organisation.

•To lead a programme which systematically recognises, reports, analyses, evaluates and minimises risk throughout the organisation.

•To achieve high standards of risk management for the Trust, including assisting with the ongoing review and development of the Trust’s strategic direction for Risk.

•To create awareness and a positive approach regarding the importance of managing risk.

•To actively promote and ensure good risk management practices and the achievement of national risk management and performance indicators.

•To provide leadership and professional advice on aspects of risk management

Who are we looking for?

•An experienced Risk professional who has tangible experience of helping to implement risk frameworks

•Ideally experience of working in an NHS environment or within the Public Sector. Experience working in other regulated environments will be considered.

•Strong stakeholder engagement experience, with an ability to drive through change and gain buy in.
