Glasgow City Centre (remote working until further notice)

MERJE is looking to recruit an innovative Head of Resource Planning to join our large contact centre client based in Glasgow City Centre, with remote working in place until further notice. This role is a key permanent hire for the organisation, at a time of growth and transformation and will join a thriving business where you will have autonomy to run the Planning department and implement fresh resource models.

The role will involve working as part of the Senior Leadership team, leading and developing your team of Planning staff to enable outstanding service delivery to customers and ensuring the best practises followed allow the customer facing teams to excel, in addition to working in line with the wider company strategic plan. You will be responsible for short, medium and long term planning and forecasting across a multi-channel and multi-site operation, with previous experience of having designed and implemented new and improved planning and forecasting models.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with the wider leadership team and clients alike with the ability to communicate and influence well at executive level, managing key stakeholder relationships with confidence. A strong commercial acumen will be required of you to ensure you can comfortably feed into business wide objectives and goals.

You will be a dynamic leader, experienced in running a large planning function with outstanding experience in developing people and wider teams. The right candidate will be highly competent in working with various Workforce Management systems, ideally NICE IEX.
