We have a unique opportunity for an ambitious Procurement Professional to join a growing Property Management company in the Birmingham office, to Head up the Procurement department. Over the last 24 months the firms’ senior management team has gone from strength to strength and they are now looking to create a centralised procurement department.
This is a fairly greenfield position and you will be tasked with leading the development of the procurement department and implementing the overall procurement policy and strategy (mainly focusing on professional services and consultancy categories, therefore experience with these is essential). You will be responsible for direct management of 1 employee initially, with the view to recruiting a team underneath you therefore management experience is crucial.
You will work alongside the senior management team to understand the current Procurement procedures, therefore you must have strong communication skills and should have the ability to manage multi projects effectively.
