​My client is looking for a Head of Operations to join an exciting fintech player with significant growth plans.

Reporting into the Executive team you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the operational functions of the business as we move through another stage in our significant growth plans whilst working closely with all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

•Working closely with our technology and commercial teams to develop and build operational policies and frameworks to support our strategic ambitions and delivering our promise to provide thousands of merchants and their consumers a world class technology offering that delivers access to finance options “any basket, any time, anywhere”.

•Implement efficient processes and standards to maintain and develop our ISO accreditations across data security, business continuity and quality management systems

•Provide oversight and support to our dedicated and highly values client services support function (including support during maternity cover period) who operate a 365 day manned support desk for consumers, merchants and lenders

•Report on operational performance and suggest improvements

•Support risk and compliance functions to ensure compliance with regulation and legislation

•Operational partner to our panel of lenders, including management of routine operational governance and SLA review meetings

•Support management of contracts and relations with vendors, partners and other stakeholders

Requirements

•Self-starter with experience of leadership within operational and service functions preferably within a financial services environment

•Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, commercial, compliance and IT

•Skilled in managing continual change in a fast-paced environment

•Analytical and solution focused but with the ability to deliver in a controlled manner to support high volume transactional routines

•Demonstrate ability to plan, develop and implement projects within agreed milestones and deadlines

•Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to write and present information in a clear and concise fashion to senior management

•Experience in developing and managing a range of external partnerships

•Project management qualification such as Prince2, APM, CMI advantageous
