​MERJE are partnered with a dynamic, ethical FinTech organisation in their search for a Head of Finance.

This is a number 1 position in the UK finance team where you will lead and develop a high performing Finance team.

Your new role:

Working closely with the stakeholders in the UK business, you will lead the finance function whilst also adding commercial input to the strategic growth of the organisation.

You will look at ways to drive revenue in the UK business in addition to having the day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all the finance-related activities. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting, job costing, financial risk management and regulatory reporting.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in financial services.

• Experience in implementing IFRS9 loan loss provisioning methodology and conversion of UK GAAP to IFRS.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

• Commercially focussed and a pragmatic approach to work with the business.

• Experience in budgeting/forecasting and Head of Finance role (i.e. statutory accounting /management accounting).

• Experience of working for a FCA regulated entity.

• Experience of mentoring and managing a team.
