Our Client is a market leading Financial Services organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of Enterprise Risk & Governance to report into the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer. You will lead the business by bringing a systematic approach to the improvement of the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
Role Purpose:
-Developing a “risk appetite” framework which provides appetite statements in line with business strategy
-Leading on building a risk control self-assessment framework across the business.
-Leading the Enterprise Wide Risk Management processes and policy for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and report on the on-going development and maintenance of the Enterprise risk Management Framework, ensuring a consistent approach and execution across all functions and locations.
-Develop the RCSA process within all operational and functional areas, including raising awareness with Senior Management and Head of Functions on the benefits of a risk control self-assessment framework.
-Develop and maintain the enterprise risk registers for each legal entity and create a consolidate view for the FS Division to Senior Management.
The Ideal Candidate:
-Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable knowledge of the legislative and regulatory landscape.
-Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills including the ability to prioritise and schedule own workload.
-Self-motivated, resourceful and thorough and capable of working under time pressure - Both independently and part of a team with minimum supervision.
