This is a key strategic and leadership position for a highly agile and innovative insurance company.
You'll lead a team of Data Scientists and Actuaries in the life insurance arm whilst creating new data science capabilities for the business that will keep the organisation ahead of the curve.
This is a role for someone who wants to implement their visions for a high performing department and see their ideas become realities in a fast moving and tech driven department.
About the role:
Lead the data science department and implement a strategic road map.
Manage and guide junior data scientists to become the companies future leaders.
Design machine learning models to support business initiatives.
Work in close contact with wider analytics teams and experiment with new techniques and ways of working.
Liaise with senior management to discuss departmental performance and visions.
Educate the wider business in the benefits of data science
About you:
Notable experience in working within a Lead Data Science or Data Science Management role.
Highly skilled in data modelling and software scripting.
Experience in leading high performing teams.
Experience in Machine Learning techniques.
