​Our client is a successful consumer credit business that are recruiting an ambitious and experienced compliance professional into a Head of Compliance capacity. The business is undergoing strong growth and in line with this is are looking for a candidate that can quickly establish themselves and build effective relationships across all levels of the business. This role incorporates a diverse and rewarding workload within a culture that encourages internal career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

•Take responsibility for the design, implementation and delivery of all regulatory and compliance training in the business.

•Design and deliver initiatives to establish and improve appropriate systems and controls, in order to manage the wider compliance and regulatory framework.

•Communicate the business’s regulatory requirements to the wider business to ensure that they are understood.

•Develop and enhance the current suite of regulatory reports, metrics and tracking.

•Definition and implementation of the monitoring plan and reporting of findings to stakeholders effectively, including any proposed solutions to improve performance and mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate will be able to seize the opportunity to establish themselves with confidence and grow with business. You will have experience working in a senior compliance position for at least 3 years under an FCA regulated environment. Expertise in CONC and understanding of various regulatory standards such as GDPR, DPR and SMCR as well as experience designing and implementing an FCA compliant monitoring plan.
