Job Description: You will be responsible for the design, implementation and adherence of the company’s compliance culture covering PRA, FCA and Data Protection rules and guidance, as well as other relevant legislation and regulation across our business.
The role will involve:
•Responsible for the oversight and continuous improvement of our risk management framework, ensuring risks and identified and considered by the Board and its Audit & Risk Committee.
•The provision of advice and guidance to the Board, its committees and the firm’s business areas on risk management, PRA, FCA, and data protection legislation
•Managing the risk management framework
•Liaison with the FCA, PRA and ICO
•Reviewing financial promotions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
•Compliance and Data Protection related training
• Extensive experience working in a senior risk and compliance position, ideally within a PRA authorised firm in the general insurance market
•Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting general insurance and a sound understanding of the FCA and PRA rules and handbooks and data protection regulation
