My client is looking for a Collections Manager to oversee the credit and collections activities of the organisation. The post holder will lead a small team of staff members to ensure the collections department is efficient.
The focus of this role will be strategic and data driven.
•Coordinate activities of staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient department that reduces the number of cases that are overlooked.
•Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy.
•Create and implement collection strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
•Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals.
•Build reports and analyse data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.
•Implement credit policies and procedures that retain a smooth running of the department and avoid excessive credit limits.
•Previous experiencing working within a regulated lending environment with a live and expired portfolio
•Intermediate+ excel level
•Held strategic roles in collections as well as leading teams
•Experience in investigating trends, risks and presenting at board level
