​MERJE are currently partnering with a Large, International Retail Leisure organisation in the Search for a Group Financial Controller.

Reporting to the Group CFO, you will manage the central Finance Team producing high quality financial reporting for the group.

Key responsibilities include

• Providing comprehensive guidance and support for divisions, the Audit Committee and the Board upon all aspects of accounting and accounting

• External financial reporting including the Annual Report, results/trading announcements and subsidiary reporting

• Overall leadership and development of the central finance team

• Working with the CFO upon delivering business improvement initiatives consistently across the Group.

Being a qualified Accountant, most likely an ACA from a top tier firm, you will be technically strong with a hands on approach. Additionally, you will be Strong manager able to develop productive internal working relationships at all levels. Dependable under pressure; self-reliant and confident enough to assert own arguments, internally and externally.
