A very exciting Greenfield Procurement vacancy within a rapidly growing global organisation, to manage indirect Procurement across 9 offices in 8 countries. You will be the first hire within Procurement and will lead the development of this key function. Encompassing both Technology and non-Technology the role will include designing and executing intelligent and efficient procurement processes.  The firm have grown year on year and now employ just under 1000 employees.

Key responsibilities include: Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Operations and Commercial to improve existing systems and to ensure optimal buying and vendor management behaviours. Negotiation of optimal value on final contracts and developing the resulting strategic partnerships with key suppliers will also be a key part of the role. Experience with indirect categories is essential and IT procurement would be desirable.

 

The Person   : With a good grounding in full indirect Procurement, preferably with a Global spend you will have proved yourself in a fast paced environment, potentially within a professional services firm. Ideally an ambitious graduate with no more than 8 years experience.  This role will suit a resourceful self starter with strong prioritisation skills and a commercial mindset. You will be comfortable in challenging and curious to learn as well as bringing innovation and drive to the business. You will own your own success and should be proud of all you achieve. There is significant potential for this role to grow quickly and you will need to have the potential to take that on. Strong academic and extracurricular activity experience along with an Honours degree will be needed.
