Reporting to - Head of Commercial Strategy & Development, Global Individual Health (GIH)

Cigna International's Global Individual Health (GIH) business is a leader in providing international health insurance to expatriates and other globally mobile individuals.

The Position:

We are seeking an individual with the capability to lead and develop our Global Individual Health (GIH) Partnerships Strategy.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the development and implementation of new strategic partnerships in order to further accelerate growth for Cigna's Global Individual Health (GIH) business, in line with our GIH global strategy. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with Cigna's Europe & Global Segments (EGS) Partnerships team to leverage existing partnerships to develop opportunities for GIH.

The position will work closely with GIH Leadership and the EGS Partnerships Teams, in addition to engaging with internal stakeholders including Senior Management, Sales & Client Management, Finance and Legal teams to ensure that GIH Partnership related requirements and opportunities are progressed.

 Main Duties / Responsibilities:

 

Develop, own and implement the Global Partnerships Strategy for GIH, with a focus on identifying new strategic partnerships to support delivery of the GIH growth agenda

Identify future partnership opportunities for GIH via existing EGS Partnerships, working closely with the EGS Partnerships Team to maximise these for GIH and for the overall benefit of EGS.

Facilitate regular meetings in conjunction with the EGS Partnerships Team, where appropriate, with EGS partners to review, maintain and develop the effectiveness and value of our partnership arrangements

Ownership and Accountability of enquiries from the GIH Commercial Team and EGS Commercial Team relating to future partnership opportunities

Work closely with the GIH business and EGS Partnership Team to develop operational processes based on Partner, Broker, and Internal stakeholder feedback

Work closely with the Director of European Health Partnerships, Legal team and Partners to ensure new GIH Partnerships are implemented within the existing EGS Partnerships governance structure

Continue to develop and implement suitable GIH Partnerships frameworks and agreements ensuring these are commensurate with existing EGS Partnerships governance structure

Act as project lead for Partnership related activity where required and provide appropriate Partnership Proposition training, including development and maintenance of collateral and resources.

Experience Required:

 

Minimum of 4 years' prior experience in a Business to Consumer (B2C) environment

Prior experience of developing and managing Partnerships and external relationships, ideally in the Financial Services/Insurance sector preferred

Experience and deep knowledge of working in a regulated environment

Ability to meet/exceed targets and independently manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines

Experience working and interacting within a high performing, culturally diverse teams in multiple locations

Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and distribution channels

Experience in collating content for internal and external communications and working closely with marketing teams and stakeholders an advantage

Skills:

Additional Languages (e.g. French/German) preferred

This role will involve regular travel
