​My client is looking for a Global Head of Sales & Business Development who drives the organisation's business sales and development strategies. As a member of the Executive Board you report to the CEO, and carry the full responsibility for achieving the sales budget. Your role is to improve the current portfolio and explore new business opportunities. You will carry out business strategies that are in line with organisational objectives.

Responsibilities:

 Generate revenue and meet or exceed quotas;

 Architect a plan with each customer and own overall responsibility for executing the plan;

 Maintain and deepen relationship with all existing and new customers;

 Develop metrics to measure ROI from all existing and new customers;

 Lead the company to meet or exceed ROI goals;

 Optimize sales processes;

 Work closely with marketing and product management to provide optimized information on our solutions to support the sales process and to win against competition;

 Understand and foresee the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these;

 Draw up and negotiate client contracts;

 Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.

Required Experience:

 At least 7-10 years of experience in a similar sales role, preferably in the financial services industry with a strong, proven track record;

 Passion for the financial services industry;

 Strong ability to execute, follow-through, and execute a range of tasks daily;

 Strong work ethic, with a goal-oriented and self-motivated personality;

 Strong sense of accountability for getting results, meeting targets, and exceeding expectations;

 Strong communications and teamwork;

 Understanding of the sales process and dynamics;

 A commitment to excellent customer service;

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

 Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
