Financial services firm, located in the East Midlands are looking to significantly expand their Complaints division with a number of positions including 2 FOS Complaints Handlers.  The role will be responsible for ensuring all complaints are dealt with correctly and in line with FCA regulations.  In terms of location, the business are easily commutable from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield and Burton upon Trent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accessing and updating various business systems to pull specified data into a central file and subsequent issue to the FOS
  • Responding to data requests/queries via post and email from the FOS and coordinating a response within the Service Level targets set
  • Responsible for the identification, management and mitigation of all risks that have the potential to impact the business’ objectives, including ensuring our customers receive fair outcomes
  • Take an open and proactive approach to risk management and escalate all risk related issues to management for awareness and opportunity to support resolution
  • Be aware and comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provision of a compliant complaint handling process to customers and the FOS
  • Make sure proper market conduct standards are adhered to

Key Requirements:        

  • Complaints handling experience
  • Experience within financial services
  • Experience working with the FOS would be beneficial but not essential
