The organisation is looking for someone to join their team who reports directly to the Head of Financial Crime

Operations and will lead a team of Quality Control Analysts and Officers covering all relevant operational work

streams undertaken by the Department.  The role also involves continuous development, implementation and

maintenance of the overall assurance framework including delivery of training where appropriate within the

Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Line management responsibility for Financial Crime Quality Control staff
  • Manage the day to day activities including workflow management
  • Ensure the team is always fully resourced and equipped to handle workflow
  • Act as the first point of escalation for any queries related to the process and procedures of any risks and issues that have been identified through the work completed by the team
  • Involvement in incident meetings with senior management and relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct team monitoring and assurance and issue management support with conduct performance reviews
  • Develop a high performing team culture through regular communication, coaching and team building
  • Maintain an up to date skills matrix to ensure training needs of individuals are identified and met
  • Produce accurate and timely MI in a format which is clear and engaging in relation to quality control checks completed
