Financial Crime Manager required for a financial services business based in Hampshire, with a focus on insurance and lending.

This is a newly created Financial Crime Manager position, and it will be ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. 

You will review the existing financial crime policies and procedures to ensure that they continue to meet regulatory requirements along with developing, implementing and managing the financial crime & fraud prevention framework. Also, you will be responsible for leading the financial crime risk assessment programme as part of the firms overall monitoring Plan.

Given your technical, financial crime background, you will act as an escalation point for AML, Fraud, AB&C and Sanctions, and be the lead for financial crime investigations. Given the insurance side of the business, a detailed understanding of Claims Fraud would be highly advantageous.

In conjunction with the operations and MI team, you will produce regular financial crime & fraud management information to be presented to senior management, including the Executive Risk Committee.

You will also facilitate and review ongoing financial crime awareness training for employees, assist with requests from external parties, including external consultants and the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
