MERJE is working exclusively with a bank specialising in the SME business banking space to help them find a Financial Crime Manager.
You will be part of a growing Financial Crime function helping to develop & upscale their existing financial crime framework.
This generalist Financial Crime Manager role within the 2nd line, covering all aspects of 2nd line financial crime duties and responsibilities.
Some responsibilities include:
Support the MLRO in the day-to-day activities of the bank’s AML and Financial Crime Management arrangements.
Assist in delivering the Financial Crime regulatory requirements regarding the development and launch of the bank's products and initiatives, ensuring all aspects of Financial Crime regulation are suitably addressed and managed.
Support the continued development and implementation of the bank’s financial crime framework, leading the financial crime risk assessment programme as part of the firm’s overall Financial Crime Compliance Monitoring Programme.
Work closely with key stakeholders providing advice, guidance and support around AML and Financial Crime matters.
Work closely with the Product and Programme teams to ensure solutions meet Financial Crime requirements.
Lead and develop bank-wide policies and procedures for AML, CTF and other financial crime areas.
Support the bank’s internal and external compliance and regulatory reporting requirements for financial crime.
Develop and deliver AML and financial crime management awareness programmes.
Investigate red flags, alerts and financial crime concerns effectively
