Financial Controller

Our client, a leading name within the Property / Residential Development space, has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join the team in their Hampshire Office.

This is a newly created role due to recent growth of the Business Unit.

The role of the Financial Controller will be to partner with the Finance Director and will include the preparation of timely, accurate Financial Information for reporting into the FD within agreed deadlines

Responsibilities:

Being a Strong Partner for the Finance Director

Producing high quality weekly, monthly and annual Management Information to strict reporting deadlines

Ownership of the monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation pack

Highlight and analyse monthly operating results whilst reporting on Variances and communication findings back to the Head of Finance

Oversee production of accurate weekly cashflow

Producing and reviewing budget reports for group submission

Ensuring the Audit process for the Business Unit and Joint Ventures is completed within deadlines.

Safeguarding the assets of the Business through high quality controls

Producing and updating timely data for reporting KPI's

Maintaining Plot Database

Skills and Experience:

Must be Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Have Demonstrable experience of a senior role within Residential Development / Property / Construction / Infrastructure Industry

Knowledge / Experience of Joint Ventures would be advantageous

COINS experience would be desirable
