My client is a highly entrepreneurial owner managed business that has demonstrated excellent growth over recent years. As part of this growth they require an experienced and qualified Financial Accountant to join the team
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that Financial Information is recorded correctly and accurately reported and implementing and driving efficiencies across the business and ensuring robust Financial practices are in place.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing Financial Reports to continuously assess Business performance
- Cash Flow management to include preparation of weekly Cash Flow reporting, modelling and forecasting
- Daily Bank Reconciliation, Accruals and Pre Payments
- Calculating and submitting of VAT Returns for the entire organisation
- Preparing the Annual Budgeting process
- Liaising with and satisfying requirements of internal and external stakeholders
- Initiating System / Process improvements
- Preparing Audits and liaising with external Auditor
- Other ad hoc duties
Previous experience and qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, in particular Excel (Pivots / V look ups etc.)
- Analytical skills to present Data into meaningful information
- Microsoft NAV experience is preferred but not essential
- A Customer focussed, self-starter who can manage and prioritise workloads
