​MERJE are supporting a specialist Financial Services business in their search for a Finance Project Manager.

As a Finance Project Manager you will manage the delivery of finance transformation, projects and associated initiatives.

The role requires undertaking the transformation of business change needs within the accounting and finance environment, working closely with others in the team to perform analysis to deliver changes, understand the impact and seeing that they are delivered into BAU.

The role will require you to work independently across the finance department on finance projects and change initiatives, working hand in hand with Finance and IT colleagues to drive and deliver changes into everyday business practice.

Travel to other UK sites and India may be required.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a Finance department is essential.

• Minimum 5 years previous experience with the Financial Services industry is desirable, 3 years previous experience is essential.

• 2 years previous experience working within a finance change environment is desirable.

• 2 years previous experience dealing with senior management/ stakeholders across multiple departments across an organisation is essential.

• Previous experience of working with Accounting, Financial and Regulatory Reporting processes and systems is essential.

• Previous experience of writing business cases and board level reports is desirable.

• Previous experience working with offshore operations is desirable.
