We're offering a rare and genuinely unique opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading digital marketing/software development agencies. Based within the beautiful rural village of Bollington, Cheshire, our Client are an international digital marketing firm who work closely with Google, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.

Our Ideal candidate:

Proactive, experienced finance manager who has a demonstrable track record in organising and establishing smart financial processes, and who revels at the prospect of making something their own.

We require an individual who has first-hand experience of what is required from a finance department within a growing company and who gets what is needed to help the business achieve its objectives, with the least possible amount of internal friction.

Your new role:

· Providing a comprehensive, accurate & timely accounting function for the company.

· Managing, developing and maintaining the quality and accuracy of management accounting information services provided to the business.

· Assisting the Directors on ad hoc projects as required.

Responsibilities:

· Preparation of monthly management and financial reporting.

· Maintain all balance sheet controls.

· Control of processing for sales, purchases, bank, payroll and nominal ledger.

· Responsibility for on time payment of statutory and non-statutory obligations for the company.

· Responsibility for credit control and collection of monies owed to the company.

· Ensure the implementation and maintenance of operational controls.

· Production of any business analysis requirements.

· Assistance in budgeting and forecasting to meet company requirements

· Maintain accurate and strong control of company cash flow and forecasting.

· Assistance in year end reporting, including liaison with UK accountants.

· Support Directors and external advisors in implementing improvements required from ongoing Financial Reporting Systems.

· Sync the accounting function of our US subsidiary with UK parent, and ensure intercompany transfers are as financially efficient as possible from a Forex perspective.

· Liaise with US accountants to ensure US subsidiaries accounts are filed accurately, and in a timely manner.

· Liaise internally and externally with people at all levels.

· Lead the growth of the finance department as and when it is required.

· Propose and implement new processes to improve company efficiencies where needed.

· Responsible for arrangement of all company insurances.

· Assist in ad hoc duties as required.

· Represent TFLI Limited positively.

Now for the essentials:

· CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified or part qualified.

· At least three years’ experience in a management accounting role.

· Excellent knowledge of both Sage Line 50 and Quickbooks.

· Computer literate - strong Excel & Word skills are essential.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Proven organizational skills.

· Ability to work without supervision and use own initiative.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion.

· Strong, assertive communicator with ability to multi task.

· Ability to deal with people on all levels.

· Good team player & willing to take on new tasks and projects as the company grows.

· Good sense of humour.
