MERJE are representing an established Building Society in their search for a talented Finance Director (SMF2) This is an excellent opportunity for either an established FD or a Senior Finance professional looking for a broad Directorship opportunity that will work towards SMF2 approval/appointment.
Your new role:
To support the Board of Directors overall strategic aims and objectives by preparing and maintaining the Society’s Business Plans, Internal Capital Adequacy Process and reporting the financial position to the Board.
Accountable for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing the Annual Business Report and Accounts, monthly management accounts, strategic business plans, reporting financial risk management metrics, and ensuring regulatory and statutory returns of financial information are submitted accurately and timely.
Also responsible for the provision of adequate Secretarial support to the Society, including but not limited to, Board and Committee governance and ensuring compliance with Annual General Meeting requirements and its annual implementation.
The package:
Salary dependent upon experience £100,000+
Hybrid working (offices based in Lancashire)
Bonus (discretionary)
