Our client is a well-respected Financial Services business specialising in Lending. The opportunity has arisen to join the firm in the role of Enterprise Risk Manager.

Responsibilities of the job include:

This role is required to:

• Report on the on-going development and maintenance of the Enterprise risk Management Framework, ensuring a consistent approach and execution across key business units.

• Develop and maintain the enterprise risk registers for each legal entity and support the publication of a consolidated view for the FS Division to Senior Management.

• Review results arising from RCSA framework to assessment the over control environment.

• Evaluate the impact of business changes and the potential risks posed.

• Lead the development and implementation of any on-going risk training and awareness programme to ensure that knowledge is developed and proportionate, based upon the needs of the Business.

• Manage the Risk Event reporting process including rout cause analysis and continuous improvement.

• Provide oversight of the key entity level controls and their effectiveness.

• Maintain the framework for managing agreed management actions within agreed timescales.

• Responsible for the management and maintenance of risk management records and where applicable, GRC tools.

Requirements:

• Good grounding in Risk Management within an FCA regulated business

• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills including the ability to prioritise and schedule own workload.

• Self-motivated resourceful and thorough and capable of working under time pressure, both independently and part of a team with minimum supervision.

• Acute awareness of relevant legislative and regulatory corporate governance

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues

• Ability to influence at a senior level. •
