Our client is a forward-thinking housing association that are hiring a dynamic Data Protection Specialist in what is an initial 3-month contract with possibility of extension and eventual permanent placement. You will assist the Data Protection Officer with all aspects of data protection and support the business with any matters related to data breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day advice and guidance to business units and responding to queries (providing pragmatic advice and oversight).

• Supervising and advising on data protection impact assessments.

• Managing processes to support data subject rights and other data protection obligations.

• Supporting the data breach response and data breach notification procedures.

• Assisting in reviewing and advising on contracts and data sharing agreements/initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the data protection field, with a broad range of knowledge across all aspects of the area.

• Able to make an immediate impact and facilitate change under time-constrained conditions.

• You will have the ability to work collaboratively with the business and internal stakeholders, understanding both business requirements and how potential data breaches and risks may arise, as well as remediation procedures.
