Our clients are the UK’s leading fraud prevention service and are looking for a Data Integrity Officer to protect the integrity of the databases through analysing trends in the data, carrying out reviews, and handling complaints and Subject Access Requests. As a Data Integrity Officer, you will take learnings from each of these processes to improve the quality of the data on the Database

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review cases and matches to ensure the standard of proof has been met, matches are returned correctly from the respective delivery channel and actioned appropriately to ensure that the quality of the data on the database remains high
  • Resolve all complaints consistently with how member cases are reviewed
  • Process Data Subject Access Requests within agreed targets ensuring that the data returned to the subject is in line with the businesses policy
  • Proactively seek to identify issues (and their root causes) with the databases whilst carrying out reviews. Spotting patterns with the data and highlighting to the relevant parties to ensure appropriate action and resolution
  • Review (and request) appropriate management Information to identify patterns and anomalies in data
  • Review members’ Fair Processing Notices to ensure data filed to the database is done so with a sound legal basis with any areas of concern explained a with a tone adapted for the specific situation
  • Communicate with all stakeholders in a collaborative informative empathetic manner to ensure the facts are clearly articulated and the communication style is adapted dependent on the situation
  • Make appropriate considered decisions on cases filed, complaints received, DSARs processed and FPNs obtained, clearly articulating the rationale for the decision back to the member or consumer
  • Work to specific Service Levels and team targets to provide an appropriate service to all stakeholders. Support the team to ensure all team targets are met
  • Recommend process improvements, identify areas of inefficiency and react accordingly
  • Contribute to projects and product development through providing subject matter expertise and/or producing agreed output
  • Provide support as required across the Data Integrity Directorate

Qualifications/Key Skills:


  • Developed Investigative skills
  • Relevant substantial experience of working within a fraud prevention role
  • Good understanding of the use of data
  • Proven ability to work to specific Service Levels and team targets


  • Relevant experience of working in the financial services sector
  • Familiarity with Financial crime, Fraud prevention and Data Protection legislation
  • Articulate and professional with strong communication skills
